Throughout his career, Marcelo Cairo, President of Inertia Engineers, Inc., has held a special interest in historic buildings. Marcelo has worked on several high profile historic restoration and renovation projects, including the iconic Plaza de Cultura y Artes, located in Downtown Los Angeles and Pasadena’s popular Raymond Theater. Thus, when he was asked to participate in Santa Clarita’s Historical Society, he was thrilled to have the opportunity to serve our local community. The Historical Society has been working hard to preserve historic buildings located throughout the Santa Clarita Valley, including by relocating several to Heritage Junction (located near William S. Hart Park and Museum in downtown Newhall). Marcelo is looking forward to supporting the Historical Society’s mission of preserving our rich local history in Santa Clarita.
